Hi - I'm Andrew Russell, one of the founding members of sport4kids. Welcome
to our charity website!
My company, Cape Africa Tours, specialises in arranging sporting and cultural tours to South Africa as well as tailor made holidays; predominantly from the UK.
We have found that many groups and families feel they would like to contribute in some meaningful way to improve the lives of disadvantaged kids here in Cape Town. They would also like to keep in contact with these kids once the tour is over; and somehow maintain the relationship they started on their tour.
As a result of this, a group of us have come together to form sport4kids;
a Sec 21 non-profit Charity (Reg num: 2006/016141/08).

- A large amount of kit was distributed in the Stanford area to needy schools.

- Bishops Prep School collected a massive amount of kit which will be distributed to a number of Primary Schools - well done boys!

- On Monday 25 July 2011 a group of Portsmouth Grammar School (UK) students and teachers visited Heathfield Primary School and left behind a huge amount of sports kit. The students loved visiting the HPS classes!

- On 22 July 2011 we provided Heathfield Primary School with 70 Cross-country vests for their team to use at the Interschools event hosted by the school.

- Heathfield Primary School received a large quantity of cricket kit from us in October 2009 - we are soon going to be heading there again with some more kit so that they can start mini-cricket amongst their junior boys and girls.
